HOUSE OF ASSOCIATIONS
14. HOUSE OF ASSOCIATIONS The House of Associations represents a pillar of Ferla's community vision, born from the desire to return a decommissioned former school building to the citizens and transform it into a vibrant center of solidarity.
The House of Associations represents a pillar of Ferla’s community vision, born from the desire to return a decommissioned former school building to the citizens and transform it into a vibrant center of solidarity.
Officially inaugurated in 2017, the structure is not just a physical headquarters provided free of charge, but a true laboratory of citizenship where volunteering becomes the engine of social growth.
Within these sustainable walls, diverse but complementary realities coexist: the environmental commitment of Ricicreo Ferla, the socio-medical and civil protection support of the Misericordia and the “Sorriso” Fratres Group, and the youth education of the AGESCI scouts.
The coordination of activities is entrusted to the Forum of Associations, a consultative body between the Municipality and volunteers that ensures a dynamic and participatory management of the spaces.
This architectural recovery project—with zero new construction—demonstrates how the enhancement of existing heritage and human capital can generate a meeting place capable of making the territory better every day.
