The creation of BorgOstello was made possible thanks to a far-sighted project by the Municipal Administration, which secured a significant €750,000 grant from the Ministries of Culture and Tourism, part of an elite decree that approved only 37 projects throughout Italy for the redevelopment of small towns.
The village today
Today, BorgOstello is a state-of-the-art facility offering 20 beds, all under the banner of sustainable hospitality. It’s more than just a place to sleep, but a living space: an additional level of hospitality that complements and complements the already award-winning European best practice of our BorgOstello, also offering the repurposing of common areas entirely dedicated to smart working. BorgOstello thus embodies Ferla’s philosophy: reclaiming the past, reducing waste, and creating inclusive spaces that attract eco-conscious travelers and professionals from around the world, in the heart of one of Italy’s most beautiful villages.
